DECEMBER 23 (THURSDAY): ARRIVE DELHI
Upon your arrival in the Indian capital city of New Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel.

DECEMBER 24 : DAY IN DELHI
Today you will spend the day discovering the vibrant city of Old and New Delhi. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, walking through the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk, 'silver street', one of the largest trading centres of India; visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; drive past Red Fort, the place that marked the announcement of India's freedom from the British Raj; and Raj Ghat, cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi includes a visit to Qutab Minar, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture and the worlds tallest minaret; Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple of Delhi, with a gold tomb, still in active worship; a short photo stop at India Gate, the war memorial arch built in honour of the soldiers who died in the second world war and drive past President\'s House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings, the most imposing features of Lutyen's Delhi.

DECEMBER 25 : DELHI TO AGRA
This morning, drive to Agra, land of the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at your hotel.

Afternoon, visit the Agra fort, which is built in red sandstone and has magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens. Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of River Yamuna, Agra Fort first took shape between 1565 and 1573 and thereafter structures within it were constructed by successive emperors.

DECEMBER 26 (SUNDAY): AGRA TO JAIPUR
Morning enjoy a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan as an eternal symbol of his love for his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal is one of the great architectural wonders of the world.

Later, embark on a leisurely drive to Jaipur - the land of the Rajputs. Jaipur is an exuberance of colour, dance and traditional arts and crafts. Known, as the \'Pink City\', Jaipur is home to ancient forts and palaces and is one of India\'s most well planned cities.

En-route to Jaipur, make a brief stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of Mughal Empire in the 16th century.
Upon arrival in Jaipur check in to your hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure

DECEMBER 27 (MONDAY): DAY IN JAIPUR
After breakfast visit the Amber fort. An elephant ride will help you ascend to this hilltop fort (elephants are subject to availability). Alternatively, you could choose to walk or drive up to the fort.

This afternoon, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the largest astronomical observatory built in stone. Also drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a remarkable five storied building along the main street of the old city with semi-octagonal and delicate honey-combed sandstone windows.

DECEMBER 28 (TUESDAY): JAIPUR TO JODHPUR
This morning, drive to Jodhpur, a city ringed by high stone walls with seven gates and several bastions. This second largest city of Rajasthan was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 A.D.

Today, visit the rock-solid Mehrangarh Fort, and the grand palaces within the fort - Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana, which are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex stands the Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. While in Jodhpur shop for the exquisite handcrafted articles such as embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics.

DECEMBER 29 (WEDNESDAY): JODHPUR TO UDAIPUR
This morning, drive to Udaipur en route visiting the famous Jain Temples at Ranakpur. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur temples are one of the largest Jain temples in India. The temples are known for their architecture, grand structures and exquisite sculptures.

Continue drive to Udaipur, a serene city set in the scenic valley of Aravalli hills, surrounded by three lakes - Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar and Udai Sagar. Upon arrival at Udaipur, check in at your hotel for 2 nights stay.

DECEMBER 30 (THURSDAY): DAY IN UDAIPUR
Today, enjoy a city tour of Udaipur, visiting the City Palace (one of the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, which is now a museum, royal residence and luxury hotel), Saheliyon-Ki-Bari (Garden of the Maids of honour), Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (a folklore museum) and Jagdish Temple. Later, enjoy an evening boat ride on Lake Pichola.

DECEMBER 31 (FRIDAY): UDAIPUR TO MUMBAI
Early this morning, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Mumbai, the most cosmopolitan city of India. Known as the country's commercial and celluloid capital, Mumbai is also famous as the 'city that never sleeps'.

Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in Mumbai, followed by New Year eve celebrations at your hotel in the city of Bollywood

JANUARY 01 (SATURDAY) DAY IN MUMBAI
After breakfast, take a short ferry ride from Mumbai harbour to Elephanta Island, home to 7th century rock-cut temples. Spend the morning visiting the ancient Elephanta caves, which feature delicately carved panels depicting the life of Lord Shiva. The highlight is the main central cave that houses the 'Maheshamurti' - a three-headed sculpture of Lord Shiva resplendent in all his 3 forms i.e. creator, preserver and destroyer of life.

This afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Mumbai visiting the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Gandhi museum and the bustling Dhobi Ghats.

JANUARY 02 (SUNDAY) MUMBAI DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer to airport to catch your flight for onward destination. Travelite (India) services terminate at Mumbai
